I love gardens. I love the little things - the softness of petals, the winding paths and the smell of fresh dew in the morning. I love it when it rains and you can hear the pitter patter of droplets on the leaves of the trees. I love the dappled shadows formed by the overlap of branches. I love the eclectic harmony created by the different flowers that bud and bloom. I love the music made by the wind blowing through the nooks and crannies of the garden. They are simple things, but together they are magnificent.
This reminds me of Alice in Wonderland -“we’re painting the roses red…”
